New book about Ester Boserup's Legacy on Sustainability

University of Copenhagen Professor emeritus Anette Reenberg has co-edited a book celebrating the 100th  anniversary of the birth of Ester Boserup, the famous University of Copenhagen Professor who impacted the development research in the 60’s and 70’s, with her research on long-Term Socio-Ecological Change, Agriculture, Land Use, and Development; and Gender, Population, and Economy. The book reflects the continuing impact of Ester Boserup’s work on scientific research today, and its likely influence on research for years to come.

The book coincides with the call for nominations of this year’s Ester Boserup Prize, and Ester Boserup Thesis Prize.

“Ester Boserup’s Legacy in Sustainability” can be bought from the publisher Springer, where it is also available through Open Access for free.
