Here are 22 research projects funded by Danida 2017

In 2017, 135 million DKK was earmarked to fund research projects in developing countries and emerging economies carried out in cooperation with danish institutions. Danida has now revealed which projects made the cut.

Danida writes following on their website:
A round for applications for funding for development research projects has been carried out - both projects in the countries that Danida prioritates (window 1) and in other emerging economies in which there is established a collaboration with the authorities (window 2). After a thourough evaluation the Consultative Research Committee for Development Research (FFU) has recommended to support 22 projects.

Among the 22 chosen development projects University of Copenhagen is project coordinator of three projects and partner in several others.

Lasse Møller-Jensen is project coordinator of the project "Climate change resilence in urban mobility" (window 1). 

Karsten Høgh Jensen is project coordinator of the project "Enhancing Sustainable Groundwater Use in South Africa" (window 2).

And Niels Fold is project coordinator of the project "Socio-economic Benefits of Ecological Infrastructure" (window 2).
