Call for abstracts on global food security - Deadline September 20
Call for abstracts for the 4th International Conference on Global Food Security with a deadline September 20. The conference takes place in Montpellier at Le Corum on June 16-19. The following news is redirected by SCIENCE from the Global Food Security Conference website.
Oral and poster abstracts are now invited on the conference topics and should be submitted using the online abstract submission system.
Topics for sessions and abstracts
The conference emphasizes integrated analyses and perspectives and therefore particularly welcomes contributions on the following cross-cutting topics:
- Influencing food consumption and demand considering the food environment
Such contributions will address all dimensions of food security, preferably in an integrated way. In addition we also accept more specialized contributions that focus on one (or preferably more) of the four dimensions of food security, i.e.:
Successfully submitted abstracts will be acknowledged with an electronic receipt including an abstract reference number, which should be quoted in all correspondence. Allow at least 2 hours for your receipt to be returned to you.
Once the paper is accepted, at least one of the authors must register for the conference and present the paper at the conference.
Abstracts of all accepted contributions will be included within the online abstract system which will be distributed to all registered conference participants.
If you do not receive acknowledgement for your abstract submission or you wish to make any essential revisions to an abstract already submitted, please DO NOT RESUBMIT your abstract, as this may lead to duplication. Please email the Conference Content Executive with details of any revisions or queries. Please quote your reference number if you have one.
