Sustainable Development at SCIENCE
Development research has a special priority at the Faculty of Science. With a long standing commitment to development issues, we assist in the development of a sustainable and efficient agricultural production and natural resource use, clean water, food safety and limiting and understanding climate change.
Our knowledge is channelled through:
Development related activites involve more than 150 researchers, 150 PhD students and 250 MSc students.
Research regarding developing countries is integrated in the different departments at SCIENCE.
SCIENCE is an active contributor to the implementation of the University of Copenhagen strategy regarding developing countries "Striving for a Better World, Streategy for Research, Education and Institutional Capacity Strengthening in Relation to Developing Countries 2012-2015".
